Hi guys and girls,
What’ve you been up to last week? Well we’re back with our weekly update on our progress. So today we came together and had our first daily stand up. We divided the first tasks on our Trello board and went straight to work…
Basically that’s all we did today, if you want to check our Trello board(activity board) click on the link below, maybe it will direct you to Trello or maybe it won’t ;).
Don’t worry it will lead you to Trello.
Hi guys, wondering what we did today? Well I can tell you its not that interesting unless you like to look at sticky posts 🙂
Check out our sticky post boat / iceberg here
After we made this weird sticky post thingy on the window, we’ve set up 2 new learning goals for our next retrospective(don’t know what it means? Google is your best buddy)
And now, after the several little problems we had setting stuff up for the project, and preparing for the pitch we just had, we can already say that it was worth it!
After we spent the whole day finishing up the required documents, addressing the last shortcomings of our Powerpoint, and several repetitions, we finally had to pitch our ideas for the game to our superiors. I won’t make you all wait for the results, because they were great. Talking about a grand success!
And now that we’ve managed to even convince those scary teachers that our game will rock, we can finally begin development on our game! Prepare for much more content on here, since we will be sharing the whole development process with all of you. And besides that publish several tutorials that will explain how to make several core mechanics of the game.
See you all during the next sprint.
After the previous week not al things went as blendtastic as we hoped it would…
We encountered way to many problems using gitkraken, so we’ve finally made the decision to switch over to sourcetree.
As said in the previous week post we already started working on our pitch which we’re going to present upcoming Thursday. Despite the fact that we all had the powerpoint in our gitkraken folder, it apparently got overwritten so we had to start all over again.
Today we made a whole new presentation which led us to some new ideas that we could implement into the game.
We also analyzed the audience which we are going to target.
At last we had a group meeting with our project coach to see if we were still on track.
Don’t forget to share our blog with all your friends. Next week we’ll keep you updated on how our pitch went, so stay tuned.

This week we had to show what we learned so far with blender. All went well, we all had something different to show. Of course we are not done with learning Blender and Python, but we will get better over time.
This week we also had to prepare our pitch for next week. We have to present what game we are planning to make with Blender. We are also planning the backlog for the first sprint in this project.
We will keep you updated
See you next week
Hi guys, here we are again.
As we’ve told you last week in our first post, every week we’ll post a new blog message right here. In each post we’ll tell you what we’ve been up to the last week. Interested what we did this week? Well its quite boring, it has nothing to do with actual programming or modeling in Blender…
Today we updated our Trello board(its kinda like a to do list) with new activities that need to be done. That’s not the only thing we’ve did today. we ate a sandwich as well 🙂
Keep checking our blog for new updates, click on the link below to check our Trello board.

For our first Blender project we’re going to create a game with Blender Game Engine. We haven’t got any experience with this program and python at all. And during our project we’re going to create some small tutorials to teach you to use Blender from scratch as well and create you’re own unique games. So ladies and gentlemen, we hope you will follow us during our project, and learn a lot from us. Of course we’re not going to make the game for you. You’ll have to create your own unique idea. We’ll just teach you the basics, and give you updates on the progress on our game.
So we wish you good luck. We hope you wish us good luck too, because we’re gonna need it more than you do.
